Old School Taiwanese Dish - Butter Soy Sauce With Rice.

This recipe would probably be the easiest one in this blog, and also probably one of the most tasty one! It's super easy and it takes like less than 5 minutes to get it all done! So let's dig in!

People used to eat this a lot back in the old days. Whenever you eat it, it brings you into a totally different world, it'll bring you back into the best memories of your childhood, when there are no computers, smartphones... the time when people talk to each other when they eat. :)

Anyway, this is a dish that everyone should have a try! Especially Taiwanese, if you haven't, you totally should! And the best thing is that you don't even need many things to get it done!

Time requirement
Difficulty
(It's too easy that I don't even want to give any stars to either of them! lol)

Here's what you need:
1. Rice
One cup of rice for one person, if you're cooking for two, then put two cups of rice.

2. Butter
There are plenty of choices between different butter. I chose the one with salt.

3. Soy sauce
You only need a little, but you need it!

3. Dry seaweed
I think this is probably an Asian stuff, because my friends from Australia never seen this before!

Now, we've got all the things we need, let's get started! ;)
Step 1
Cook the rice, and after it's done, put a slice of butter in.
After putting in the butter, cover it with hot rice to melt it.
After 30 seconds, you can start stirring the rice until it turns yellow.

Step 2
Put two spoons of soy sauce in, and stir it again.

Step 3
Crack the dry seaweed in, done! :)

Enjoy! ;)

  2. DAT BUTTER SLICE. OMG.
My mom taught me to do this with pig fat extracted by frying fatty pieces of pork in a wok. Never heard of a butter version, but it looks awesome.
